After the disappointment of having to cancel Larry Heard - hold tight and he'll be here in the New Year we promise! -

Downtownsounds is very proud to announce the return of Metro Area's Darshan Jesrani at Crawdaddy on Friday November 19th.

Darshan played our favourite DJ set of the year to a packed 52FUNK in February, mixing up a delicious blend of electro-disco stompers, funky rare groove, blissful US garage, dubbed out house and the kind of spacey electroid grooves he and his brothers in sound on the balihu and environ are famed for. We'd never quite heard a DJ quite like him to be perfectly honest.
