When King Britt asked me to start promoting his label within Spain, of course I was chuffed, when this arrived I was speechless... It has to be one of the contenders for the best of deep, moody music I have heard in eons... Dozia crafts a journey with dark drums, spoken word, spacey effects that is gonna cause mayhem on the right floors... As I mentioned deep, but really driving drums textured and layed perfectly moves this track along well... Vocals/spoke word from Carmen Medina keep the lights low and sex factor high, plus the almost trance like piano stabs lift this up a level... one for late night sessions... awesome!!! |

Swingin beats and jazz piano stabs set this mid tempo house groover into action. Quick of the mark is the tight disco perc that leads the way for a soaring synth line that makes the hairs on your neck start to jump... Bang into the brass attack thats breaks away into a phat as phuck solid deep jazz keys workout... This is DOPE... Forthcoming... date TBA |

What can I say about this... Its a sublime piece of blissed out jazz vibed soul... Vocals that sweep in and warmly lol around your neck and ears, like the affections of a love struck partner... skipping beats and a quality viberaphone workout carry this along at a nice pace... Modern Soul at it very best...

This number starts with nice warm chords and a tac-a-tac high hat pattern giving you a cheeky flava of the groove to come. Huge sweeps and soaring strings move through great chord changes and bam... in come the DJ Gregory vibed percusion which will have those peeps on the floor going crazy... A wicked breakdown follows then it all kicks back into a monsta jam.
This is amazing... |

Duriezs' Broque Rouge Traxx put in another quality dirty bomb in the guise of Portugal's DJ Del Costa and Pedro Goya's "Troia". Driving percussion and tech ended top end patterns move this well with a deep, tribal chant drifiting throughout. Once it breakdowns in comes some obscure cinematic spoken word which leads back into the infectious dirty groove... One for the AcidSouls!!!

Quality throughout on this 3 tracker with cuts from Audio Soul Project, Demarkus Lewis and my fave from Grant Dell and Daniel Poli, entitled "Out The Door"
Firm crisp techish beats lead in and it's swinging well at this point, building with great use of effect stabs and general weirdness, then the sub starts and it gives you an insight of whats to come...
As the whole thing gets upto speed it's groovin' like a mofo... big room sounds for open minded house heads... cool!

A stunning piece from the J:Soul stable, owned and run by Jason Herd. This would not sound out of place on say, Chez or Naked. Groovin' congas and lush, warm, deep keys lead to the stunning vocal of Abigail Bailey. Jason Herd has already had previous outings on the Subliminal label with Angie Brown on a track entitled "Whatever You Dream". This release see's Jason coming home to his own label... and what a home coming it is.
